A step into the Magical World!

we were actually supposed to dress up as any FAIRYTALE character. but in the end i think the theme was 'ANY character will do!' . haha. flintstone isn't exactly a fairytale character!

Regardless, we seriously were just laughing the whole way through. Seeing princess jasmine with a tummy, how the witch tried to poison snow white, how aladin tried to grant the birthday lady 3 wishes.. nobody cares whether it was a fairytale or not. because we screwed up all our stories anyway.


5th aunt turns 50.
time flies! the next time u know it, charis tan is turning 50. :P

we booked a small ballroom in Saujana hotel, and i personally think the room was very pretty! :)



at as early as 4pm a few of us were already there doing the early preparations. which includes.. going online! lol


at 6 we were already starting to dress up!

The witch came early to find victims to poision. omg snow white looks damn happy



oh he claimed that he is the wizard. don't know from which show!


1st aunt reasoned why she didn't dress up.

"Ai'yo!

This evening ah, i tried this tried that...but i did not come out like anything nice from the fairytale.

Want to look nice....like Cinderella, or Snow-white, or whatever princess also can but .. eyes small small, stomach big big, skin dark dark, face wrinkle wrinkle.

So i look into the mirror 'Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all" and found myself more suited to be the princes's stepmother. Hahaha! Maybe i can dress as a witch!

But on second thought, i want to look pretty... don't want to be remembered as the funny, not-nice-looking witch.

may i be excused, but i promise to dress up elegantly and beautifully. Can or not?"

so she was forgiven :P

a few things you didn't know:


1. Belle and snow white are actually cousins. your fairytale story didn't tell you that ar?


2. one of the 3 lil pigs is the mum to lil red riding hood! OMG how can pigs give birth to human beings right. especially such a cute girl! but life is unfair wan la anyw :(


3. Tinkerbell is bigger size than peterpan. and they both cannot fly.


4. captain hook's legs are quite sexy. LOL


5. princesses do meet up with each other to catch up on their stories sometimes. really!


6. the witch actually tried to poison princess jasmine FIRST! but she failed. then only she went and poison snow white.


seee, told u snow white's gullible.


muahahahhaa.

we were all having the time of our lives before 5th aunt came. haha the birthday girl missed the fun the most! oooops.


Finally there was a signal that the bday lady's already coming. so i had to patiently wait at the walkway to take pictures!


from this point onwards we had the whole place all to ourselves. syiokness!


there was a red carpet for her but haha.. she looked fat in the picture so i dun think i should post it up lor ;)


FIVE HUGE candles for her to blow on her bday!


super love the birthday cake! provided by the hotel but very nice ^^

then came dedication from her family. walao 5th uncle sang their song for her! romantic romantic =)


until she nearly cried adee. (look at sinbad!)

the event started off with a fashion show. since everyone was so dress up, it would be a waste not to strut it!

we had good food, like really good food. the barbeque was awesome! and there were a lot of other food (like sushi :D and lasagna :D and sashimi :D) tee ee will love it. HAHA so i will have a food post the next time (to make u droool tee eee!) because it was seriously too much i couldn't even have a taste of all!

there was also performance while we were eating. see how talented our family is :p



while puss in boots was playing the violin, she requested saying that my 5th aunt and uncle should dance!


ahhaahaha and they did.

i downloaded this program which could do a video conference (apparently skype cannot wo), so we can make our cousins overseas jealous! thank u btw ching! for introducing that thing to me! hahaha super love it :)



Fred and barney were so impressed with the technology!

the lil girls kept coming to me to sit on my skirt! haha it was so long it could drag the ground even after the cancan and 3inch heels. i still kept tripping on it.

literally sitting on the skirt. but i was ok because it's rented. bleks!


every family had to come out with a presentation to incorporate the birthday lady into any fairytale.

these are the winners for the sketch. see those glass bottles? because the aunties have become so paranoid about using plastic ones, they clean the old soysauce bottles and use them! so charis and i couldn't tahan seeing them use such awful looking bottles, we gave them nicer looking glass ones! RM 5 shop! lol
